Physiotherapy for people who hang upside down.

Assessment and rehab for aerial and pole athletes, from a Physiotherapist who trains across multiple aerial disciplines.

You do not need to be a member of the studio, or train there, to book. Run a studio? Host a clinic day.

Where are you right now?

Three routes in. Pick the one that sounds like you and it takes you straight to the part that answers it.

I am injured and still training

You want to know what you can keep doing, and what is making it worse.
What I treat

I have had time away

You want a route back to the apparatus that does not start in a beginners’ class.
Return to aerial

I am hypermobile

You have been told to stop, by someone who does not do this sport.
Hypermobility

I will not just tell you to stop.

Stopping is the advice you get from someone who does not know what a straddle invert asks of a shoulder. I train across multiple aerial disciplines. I know what the sport costs you, and I know what it takes to get you back on it safely.

What I do

Three things, and they usually run into each other

Most people start with an assessment, leave with a plan, and come back a handful of times while it works.

Injury assessment

Working out what is actually going on, and what you can keep doing while we fix it.
Injury assessment

Rehab

Strength, mobility, control, load tolerance, grip and upper-limb conditioning, built around your apparatus.
Rehab

Return to aerial or pole

A staged route back for people who have had time away from training.

Where you can see me

One place to start with, and it is an aerial studio rather than a treatment room, which means I can see you on the apparatus you actually use. That tells me more in ten minutes than a couch tells me in an hour.

Where I run my clinic

KPole Wolverhampton

I run my clinic inside the studio, on Fridays. You do not need to be a member and you do not need to train there. If you have never set foot in the place, an appointment is also an easy way to see what it is.

Where
KPole Wolverhampton, Moorfield Road, Wolverhampton WV2 4QT

Not near Wolverhampton?

Tell me where you train. It is the only evidence that justifies opening a clinic somewhere new, and it is how the next studio gets chosen.

I have events booked at other studios later this year. If yours should be one of them, say so.

Run a studio?

If your students keep asking you questions you are not qualified to answer, I can help. I run clinic days inside studios and work alongside coaches rather than over them.
